We're committed to supporting Reconciliation in WA
VenuesWest respects and acknowledges the Whadjuk Noongar people as the Traditional Owners of the land upon which our venues stand and recognise their continuing connection to land, waters and culture. We pay our respects to Elders past and present.
At VenuesWest, reconciliation is a core part of our commitment to the community we serve. Our second Innovate RAP builds on the foundations of our first Innovate RAP (2022), strengthening our focus on Relationships, Respect, and Opportunities for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
Since starting our reconciliation journey, we have made meaningful progress through embedding cultural recognition into our venues and events, fostering a workplace where reconciliation is actively supported and engaging with First Nations businesses.
This RAP is a continuation of our commitment to reconciliation.
This RAP has been endorsed by Reconciliation Australia.
A special thank you to artist Bianca Willder for her artwork. Bianca is a proud Wardandi, Whadjuk, Ballardong and Bindjareb yorga who has been painting for 28yrs, she loves sharing our culture through art with conversations.
